This is a Fantastic BlackBerry Products.
But it need to be improved.
Internal Memory is too small, only 256MB. which is too small.
It need to be Raised to 1-2 GB, to make BB more Stable (No Hang problems) and more quicker.
Come on, Memory price is so low-cost now. There is No reason to make user more pleased.
Just Release Version 2, with Internal memory 1-2 GB,and it will be Booming.
for Improvements, RIM need to make the menus and attention more simpler to use, especially for Office worker, to make notes, to Open Word, Excel files, ETC.
And also make all services ON/ Available when we use WIFI Overseas. which can save our money, when we travelling overseas

This is a very nice doohickey, it has been improved in many aspects, all of them mentioned in other coments, the only two negative aspects I found are:
- Keys are toooo small! Its a pain to write a touch. Ancient models have better keyboards.
- Needs improvements in the Browser.
If you don’t have problems with this too items I recommend the phone.
Kind Regards,
Sergio.

Excellent improvement on Bold BB. Simple to use, smaller and light weight. The GPS is brilliant and downloading app is really fun.

The new trackpad is a fantastic improvement over previous blackberrys, but the AT&T or Bell Canada Networks are terrible. Particular phone features (like call forwarding) are now really harder to use because of the terrible networks. Wait for a new BB with a trackpad but get it on a network that is really effective.

If there’s a way for me to be overly productive, and have so much less use for a computer, it’s because of the Blackberry Bold 9700.
Earlier, I owned a different smart phone running windows mobile OS. It was really pretty excellent, but, I never knew I was living in the dark ages. The Bold 9700, in comparison, is much quicker, more responsive, has a ton of support, apps, and updates (when available). My work demands access to email, GPS, sometimes web browsing, and a camera, and by far this phone is best apposite out of any phone. It’s very well balanced, has many options and ways to customize your phone, so you can have it extra personalized. In fact, all these capabilities is why it is a crackberry for me, because I can get lost using so much time going through my Bold 9700.
For a stable and quick connection, I use the wifi a lot. Otherwise I use the 3G service, but it doesn’t work as well as wifi.
I’m a huge fan of the optical track pad, replacing the trackball, and not nearly as painful to use as a touch screen phone. I also like full qwerty keyboards, so keep ‘em comin! This is not the perfect phone, but most certainly the highest quality phone I have ever used before. It’s also the perfect size and weight, slightly thin, not too wide, and light. Though it’s light and a small slimmer than other smart phones, the build quality feels solid and sturdy.
The screen on this thing is super hi-res. I feel like I’m watching TV when I mind videos on it. The menu system, it’s functionality, and customization makes the phone simple and pleasant to use. Pictures taken by its camera usually come out very excellent in situations with sufficient light, but low light causes washed up pictures, and the camera flash only works well in close range.
There are a couple of glitches I’ve dealt with by now, and hope to see a fix for that. Once the security manager, which questions for permission to trust new apps, kept repeating it’s suitable and froze the phone. The other thing is that the blackberry menu button sometimes changes its options, leading to missteps in functionality. This has been rare so far, but hope to see a fix for it. The micro-SD card in the back of my phone is a pain to get out (I had a larger card to place ins). It took me forever! Sometimes the manifold uses on this phone can be overwhelming to novice users. I’m also not too crazy about paying from the Crackberry plot …it should be the norm for all phones to have access to inernet by now, and extra charges should not be associated with smart phones.
Now, with all that information aside, I would highly recommend this product to anyone, as it is easily the best phone I have ever had, and I imagine I would be keeping it long time (like over a year)
I’m not too excited about
