Smartphone manufacturer Eten have this month announced two new high spec mobile phones, the Eten Glofiish DX900 and the Glofiish X900. The two phones share the exact same specifications, look and dimensions, except for one very important one – the Glofiish DX900 is the first dual sim mobile phone to run on the Windows Mobile Pro platform, so should get quite a few busy business people excited.

The two Glofiish mobile phones run on the Windows Mobile Pro 6.1 Operating System and have a 533 Mhz Samsung CPU. Both of the new Eten Glofiish have nice sized 2.8 inch screens, are sized at 106 x 60.5 x 17 mm, and weigh in at 147 grams.

The DX900 an X900 have VGA displays, 128 MB of RAM and 256 MB of ROM. The mobile phones also include Wi-Fi, a built-in GPS receiver to allow you drivers to plan your next trip, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. The quad-band GSM/EDGE support and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA support make it a truly world-wide communicator.

For those after the less ‘serious’ features there is a 3.15 megapixel camera with autofocus, plus a secondary standard VGA camera for making video calls and Windows Media Player 10 is installed to handle your music and video files.

So for those of you who are important or busy enough to have two mobile phone contracts – you can now combine them into one smartphone with the DX900 – for all the rest of us there is the X900. No word as yet on pricing or availability, so watch this space for more information.

Two new mobile phones have been announced by Eten. The Glofiish V900 and the Glofiish X610.

We will start with the Glofiish V900 which is a must for TV addicts everywhere as it supports DVB-H, DVB-T, TDMB and DAB wireless TV reception. This means that you can watch TV at anytime wherever you go!

It measures 106 x 60.5 x 17mm and weighs in at 147g. The touch screen measures 2.8 inches and boasts 480 x 640 and 65K colours. It features a 3.15 megapixel camera with auto focus as well as a secondary VGA videocall camera, pocket Office including Word, Excel and Outlook, Windows media player 10, WiFi, HSDPA, Bluetooth, TV out, and GPS. It runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system.

The Eten Glofiish V900 will be available in a black colour scheme, and will be available to purchase from August 2008.

Now let’s take a look at the Eten Glofiish X610 slider phone which is a slight upgrade to the X600. It’s very similar to its predecessor apart from a slight change to its appearance and it now runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 OS. All the other features stay the same – QVGA touchscreen display measuring 2.8 inches, 320 x 240 pixels and 65K colours, 2 megapixel camera, WiFi, GSM/EDGE support, micro SD expandable memory, pocket Office including Word, Excel and Outlook and built in GPS.

The Eten Glofiish X610 will be available in July 2008 in black colour scheme.
