Motorola Tundra Phone, Black (AT&T)
Nice phone. But, Amazon had it for $.01 w/Plot on 2/5/09 which I had in my cart all ready to go. I needed to go to the AT&T store to really pick one up and see how it felt to make an informed choice. I did that this morning, came home and turned on the computer make the buy.
Today, literally less than half a day later (just HOURS after it was placed in my cart, ready to BUY), AMAZON raised the price by $150.00. Even after calling and trying to get the representative to change the price back (for a long time customer), no luck.
I estimate that says a lot about how AMAZON cares about its customers, which means you and I are just chumps and too terrible. If that’s the way they’re going to handle customers during this economic mess, they’ll soon be another company laying broadcast off and or beseeching the regime for money to stay afloat. They won’t be getting my money, that’s for darn sure. A real bait and switch AMAZON. Another corporation with no conscience.

Just as tough as it advertises. The first day I got it I ran over it with my F-150 Pickup, froze it in the deep freeze, waterlogged it in hot water for 30 minutes, threw it in the air as high as I could allowing it to drop on asphalt 5 times, and beat it with a rubber mallet.
No problems at all after all that abuse. This is the phone for me.

This phone is not only harsh and nearly bullet proof, it also has all the features. It is certainly the best combination of everything you need in a phone. Obviously its not for you if you want a super thin phone with a touchscreen but lets be trustworthy persons phones are so ordinary they are not even cool anymore. If whats cool to you is having a phone that just works and will never break even if you abuse it then this is it by far.

I bought my Tundra because I own a horse farm and need durability. While the phone may be substantially made, the sim cards are not. On many occasions I have received the message “unregistered SIM card” Usually, this means I have to take off the back, take out the battery, take the SIM card all the way out, and then slip it back in. If you don’t have a touch to push the card out, it is a bear to get it to come out. Additionally, in view of the fact that I spend an inordinate amount of time mucking stalls, I liked the MP3 like feature. It also was defective and would lock up on a single piece until you twiddled with the play list to go to the next song. Not that I didn’t need the break, but would have rather picked a time when I could delight in it. Just don’t reckon this phone is a tough as it is made out to be.
