This additional handset increases my total to 3. They are all outstanding including the corded base unit. Signal quality is brilliant on all handsets, including the corded handset. I can’t comment on long term durability; I haven’t had any of the units that long, though I have dropped one of the freestyle units and it survived with no deterioration in signal or hurt to the case, etc.

Item manner of speaking was quick and as described. No issues with this item or its shipping and manner of speaking.

I like this phone and its features. The signal is excellent. The only thing I don’t like about it, is that not many of the features are listed on the menu. You have to use a 3 digit code to access most of them, which means you can never lose your users manual, because you have to refer to it frequently. There are way too many codes to remember.

This phone system operates much better than my previous set up. The early setup was at first confusing and took a bit of re-reading instructions because some actions take place on the base unit (call screening) while others (date and time) have to be set on one of the hand sets. Once set up it seems to operate very well, with excellent signal quality and the handsets work well in any room of the household.

I like everything about this phone system EXCEPT that the speaker phone cannot be turned loud enough to hear while typing on the computer, doing dishes, etc. What’s the point of “hands free” if you can’t do anything else with them while listening to someone who likes to talk for an hour or more? And once ON speaker, I can’t figure how to get it OFF speaker. But that just may be in the manual somewhere. Aside from the speaker issue, it has excellent quality signal and a fantastic answering machine. Now, I just need to get used to the smaller size as I can’t keep it on my shoulder…
