The Best Camera Mobile Phones This Christmas – the Sony Ericsson C905 and S302
In 2008, one company is set on shaping the universe of camera-equipped mobile phones. This manufacturer is Sony Ericsson, and they are determined to dominate not just the world in top-end camera phones, but bottom-end handsets, as well!
Camera phones evolve – the Sony Ericsson legacy
It’s rather apt, really, that Sony Ericsson are the ones at the forefront of the revolution in camera-equipped mobile phones. I mean, it was they who kicked it all off, long ago, in 2002. Let’s not forget that they were the first manufacturer to unveil a mobile phone with a camera in it, within the British marketplace. That phone was the Sony Ericsson P800, but it didn’t get the mass market penetration Sony Ericsson would’ve liked, as it was an incredibly (for the time) high-end smartphone. But, their most iconic device in description was about to be unveiled, and that one DID get fantastic market penetration. It was the Sony Ericsson T610, and it changed the playing field. There was a device that stood head and shoulders over the other mobile phones it was up against. It was compact, it was sexy, and customers went MENTAL for it. And, let us remember that the Sony Ericsson T610 also had a built-in camera, and that it was really the first handset to hit that mass market, and make them go, ‘Hang on, we really do want cameras in our mobile phones!’
Today, the camera phone world has split, into entry-level handsets, and top-end camera-equipped mobile phones; well, it’s honest to say that Sony Ericsson really terribly want to rule both!
Sony Ericsson S302 – low-cost, cheerful, snappy
Say you want a Sony Ericsson camera phone, but not a mega-massive smartphone. If so, then the Sony Ericsson S302, the first phone in their whole new Snapshot series, is the perfect handset for you. It’s a fantastic small handset, with a compact, slick body, a marvellous screen, and a funky small multimedia browser. In addition to that, in malevolence of this being classed in the ‘budget phone’ category, the Sony Ericsson S302 is equipped with a fantastic small 2 megapixel camera. Ok, it doesn’t come with autofocus, but considering that it’s a budget camera phone, it’s brilliant!
But, that’s a low-end mobile phone… how about if you want a touch that’s got real power? What if you desire one of Sony Ericsson’s Cyber-Shot series…?
Sony Ericsson C905 – the ultimate camera phone?
You just can’t deny power, and one thing is very clear: the Sony Ericsson C905’s got much more sheer power than any other mobile phones you can buy in the UK. How come? Well, this is the first camera phone to be unleashed upon the UK that has an 8 megapixel camera. Yes, you read that right. EIGHT. That’s a ludicrously huge pixel resolution, and it means that the Sony Ericsson C905 will let you take the absolute most jaw-dropping images you’ve ever experienced, from any camera-equipped mobile phone, ever. Oh, and of course, don’t forget that Sony Ericsson have packed it full of Cyber-Shot technology, and that’s going to make the pictures it produces even more sumptuous. Combine that with a top of the range multimedia browser, WiFi, HSDPA and built-in GPS, and you have to come to the end that the Sony Ericsson C905 is, without doubt, the king of the hill!

Blackberry Bold 9000 Mobile Phone Review – Click With the Smart Camera Phone
Blackberry first came into the market in 1997 as a two-way Pager, and was first introduced by a company called Investigate in Motion. Today Blackberry Bold features push e-mail, Internet faxing, web browsing, along with other services offered by wireless phones, and is considered to be one of the best Smart phones available in the market. It is also a mobile telephone which supports incoming and outgoing calls, text messaging, a 2-Megapixel camera with flash with a digital zooming capability, and video recording.
The Blackberry Bold 9000 has HSDPA, Wi-Fi and GPS. It has a full QWERTY keypad, and a screen with bright resolution. The screen size of the mobile phone is a 2.6 inch panel, which is slightly larger than the Curve’s 2.4inch. The width of the screen measures 2.25 inches, as compared to 1.5 inches of that of the Curve. While the Curve has a VGA resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, the Blackberry Bold features 480 x 320 pixels show, which is an increase of nearly half of that of the Curve. If you hold your current Blackberry next to the Bold, you would most certainly be tempted to invest in this sophisticated mobile Smartphone.
In the mobile world there are two devices which could be pitted against each other. The first one being the Blackberry Bold and the second is the iPhone. There is a general user perception that the Blackberry Bold has the clearest and sharpest picture, and with its black leather-like back, chrome border and sides, and a black face, the device looks as impressive as its unparallel features. On the other hand, iPhone has a unique design, which has made it an iconic device, making it a device to be easily recognised. One of the greatest advantages of Blackberry Bold is its QWERTY keyboard, which is simple to handle, and this feature is one of the attractions for business users.
The 9000 does not have a FM Radio, and is not a touch screen device. The device has a nominal 2 mega-pixel camera with an in-built flash unit, having a resolution of 480 x 320. The features contain a GPS along with Blackberry maps, and the device has geo-tagging feature which lets you tag your photos with relevant geographical areas. The iPhone also has a 2 mega-pixel camera, with geo-tagging feature, and also includes third-party attention integration.
The Bold has its HSSPA modem and applications processor located on single chip. This makes the battery life of the device go far, extending the stand-by time to 13 days, with 5 hours of talk time. On the other hand, the battery of the iPhone provides a talk-time upto 5 hours when used in 3G mode, or 10 hours while using the device as 2G. The stand-by time is 300 hours, with 6 hours of Wi-Fi Internet use, seven hours of video playback and up to 24 hours of audio playback.
When it comes to measuring the looks Vs the performing features, Blackberry Bold crosses the expectations of any user, including designer expectations, and obviously the market expectations. The features of the Blackberry Bold betters every competitor rating, and even for users having an older version of Blackberry would not be able to willingly place down one Blackberry Bold in favour of their ancient ones.
Business oriented phone have a lot of useful features for a price. But you can cut back some by getting low-cost mobilephone line rental deals or if you get fortunate, you can get a free Blackberry Bold 9000 narrow deal with free gifts.

Your Old Digital Camera Might Be Repairable For Free Under Recall
If you are like one of an estimated 75 million owners of a digital camera, at some point in time, your camera will more than likely develop one or more problems and would be in need of digital camera repair. Ordinary problems contain cracked LCDs, broken battery doors, jammed lenses or board level problems.
There are a set of digital camera models but, that develop their own unique problems, all stemming back to a batch of defective CCDs that Sony produced and used in these camera models.
What’s the huge deal with the faulty CCD? Well Sony produced a series of CCDs for innumerable digital cameras between the years of 2003 and 2005, for at least 20 different models. And in privileged heat and humidity conditions, the CCDs would commence to fail, producing some crazy looking images or causing a black screen to show on your camera.
Here is a list of all the terrible Sony CCD models that I can find right now, as I find more, I will add them to the list.

As Sony is the first sensor manufacturer for all of the other manufacturers’ products listed above (and given the vast array of products that they manufacture themselves) it should come as no fantastic surprise that Sony has by far, the greatest number of affected products. This should not be taken as indicating any inherent deficiency in Sony products beyond the now discontinued sensors involved.
No service forms or mailing addresses are provided on the Sony US site. Rather, owners are instructed to contact the Sony Customer Information Services Center for further help at 1-866-703-7669.

Sony Ericsson C905 is 8 Megapixel Camera Phone – Sony C905 UK
The first ever 8 megapixel Cybershot camera phone has now been launched on O2 in the UK, the new Sony Ericsson C905 is the manufacturers flagship model and offers the very latest in technology and features from the camera focussed Cybershot range.
The Sony C905 is to get some unwelcome company from competing manufacturers as the first batch of 8 megapixel camera phones are released onto the UK markets, in particular the LG KC910 Renoir and Samsung M8800 Pixon models.
The Sony Ericsson C905 Cybershot phone offers a groundbraking 8.1 mega pixel camera which is a genuine alternative to a digital camera. The camera includes top-end features including a Xenon flash, Auto focus face detection and persona stabiliser to name just a few. Users can make videos of their friends and family with the video recording feature. It even has a video stabiliser and a video light. When users have finished taking pictures and videos they can then upload them quickly to their blog for everyone to see.
The C905 has a Wi-Fi antenna and Sony is also bigging up its ability to automatically network with other components – such as a PlayStation 3, Bravia TV or Vaio laptop – using the DLNA ordinary. DLNA – or Digital Living Network Alliance – is a set of interoperability protocols designed to ensure innumerable electronic devices can easily network with each other without complicated setting up or servers. Its backers contain consumer electronics giants such as Sony, Philips and Toshiba as well as mobile phone companies like Nokia, LG, Motorola and – obviously- Sony Ericsson.
The media player comes with an FM Radio, TrackID, Album Art and Play Now, to make the music experience much smoother. The Sony Ericsson C905 also comes complete with a range of in-built games and is Java enabled so users can play games to their hearts content on persons long commutes or nights in.
For the internet user the Sony C905 an Access NetFront Web Browser, WAP 1.2.1, WAP 2.0 XHTML and Web Feeds, so owners of this phone will never be without the internet. The Sony Ericsson C905 is a super-sleek looking phone that comes in a variety of colours; Night Black, Ice Silver and Copper Gold, the first of these being the black edition. A contemporary phone with all the features needed and more.
The C905 is the first Cyber-shot to be equipped with helped GPS which is more responsive than the lugubrious GPS on the first Nokia N95 and the Sony Ericsson W760i. Like the recently released iPhone 3G, the Sony Ericsson C905 will also support the geo-tagging of photos out of the box.
All of this technology has been packed into a casing measuring just 104 x 49 x 18mm which is more than in-line with other models currently available and weighing in at 136g is also not too much for a phone of this tallness.
There’s no doubting the design though, as the keypad, brushed lens take in and charming, rounded edges of the casing all look sleek and in keeping with a high-end mobile. The release of the C905 has not come soon enough, as this is one of the most exciting phones Sony Ericsson have launched for some time.
Although initially released on O2 pay monthly narrow tariffs the C905 is expected to be picked up by further UK network operators and retailers over the next few days, the Sony C905 will also be made available as a SIM Free handset aswell as on the Pay As You Go payment scheme.
The Sony C905 is one of many new Cybershot devices to be released this year, for further details please visit our online mobile phones shop.
Capture Your Memories for a Lifetime in Your Camera
Purchasing a camera might be cumbersome for some broadcast. With a wide range of options, which are available in the market, one can everlastingly get lost using the different features of this doohickey. But, as a device, a camera surely gives you the advantage of capturing memories in a single snapshot. Going back through time, the first camera was huge enough and it needed a lot of preparation before one could use it. As years passed by it became smaller and thinner. All you need is a excellent camera to capture your precious moments and share these with others.
Again, this simple invention brought us closer to what we really need as human beings. We need to remember a lot of things in life just in case our memory fails us. We need a camera not only in pleased moments but it also provides prove in court about a crime that was committed. In a camera, we share both the pleased and sad realities of human existence. The snapshots bring us closer to who we really are. It brings us in unity with our neighbors in another country. It makes us realize that capturing these different situations reveal our interconnectedness. This simple machine leads us to the discovery of what we truly need in our lives as human beings.
Capturing Each Moment Like Capturing A Part Of Your Life
Surfing the Internet, opens us to tons and tons of pictures ranging from situations of happiness and peace to war and poverty; showing us the different human realities that are captured through a picture; and it makes us know that we have to do a touch to make this world a better place. As we hear the photo, we see a glimpse of another part of the world. Humanity is responsible for the situations that are happening in our everyday life. It captures who we are and what we can become. This simple doohickey is now placed in cell phones and computers. It is through responsible use of this machine that we build the possibility of our world and it is through abuse that we ruin it.
As the world continues to gyrate and life goes through the different stages of evolution, the camera also goes through a process of transformation, which continues to capture vital aspects in our description. Through the photos, humanity now learns from the past as it travels onwards to the possibility. As a doohickey, this will take on other forms but essentially, and it will continue to do its job of capturing the importance of life. This clarifies why a lot of broadcast would prefer buying a cell phone with a camera; there is a thirst within us for collecting our memories. Therefore, it is through its responsible use, that it attains its perfection. The camera is only useful when it achieves the ordinary excellent. It should be used to build humanity and not ruin it. This is one of the means where we can share our feelings with one another and brings us closer to each other. The challenge still remains – let us capture each moment!
