The Sony Ericsson P1 – How I Fell in Love With a Mobile Phone
Join me, as I tell you about why I like this king amongst mobile phones, the gorgeous Sony Ericsson P1.
Sony Ericsson – redefining the smartphone
Sony Ericsson are, in my opinion, one of the single best mobile phone manufacturers on the earth. But then, I would say that, in view of the fact that all but one of my mobile phones have been Sony Ericsson (the one that wasn’t was a Samsung… nice, but not in the same league). One of the huge things they’ve become known for is their range of smartphones. Over the years, they’ve produced some real stunners: the P800, P900, P910, P990 (although most broadcast didn’t like this one as much, I did…) and the most recent, the P1. That, right there, is their entire back catalogue of P-series smartphones. And yes, I’ve owned every single one of persons. I can honestly say I will, in all likelihood, never use anything but a Sony Ericsson smartphone, for the rest of my life, because, well, they really are stunners.
But why are they? Let’s take a look at the latest, the P1, and see why it’s so excellent.
The P1 – showing the world what mobile phones SHOULD be like!
In one word, if I had to describe the Sony Ericsson P1, it would be: stunning! Based around the Symbian UIQ3 boundary, with a full touchscreen, and QWERTY keyboard, it’s very clear that this phone is designed to be more than just a phone. the best way to reckon of it would be as a computer in your hand. with a super-powered processor, 128Mb of RAM, it combines the power of a touch like a Windows Mobile device with the ease of use that we’ve come to expect from mobile phones.
And that, right there, is why it’s the king of smartphones. Not because it’s the most powerful (it’s not), not because it’s the prettiest (it’s not, although it is gorgeous), and not because it’s the fastest (it’s not). It’s very simple; it’s the combination of persons elements. So, while there may be more powerful, quicker, or prettier mobile phones out there, the simple fact is that nothing, NOTHING mixes it all up, and puts it all together as well as the Sony Ericsson P1. That’s why i adore it, and it’s also why I’ll be getting its successor, the P5 when it finally gets launched!
Why I Hate My Blackberry Even Though I Love It
I despise my Blackberry. No, don’t get me incorrect â?? I like Hard to know, eh? Well, readJit, but then I despise it onâ?¦ Sometimes I despise my Blackberry so much that I just cannot stand the face of that machine. Who am I? I am your everyday, commonplace 9 to 5 working employee in the office. The person who is very conveniently found slinking to the coffee machine nearly every one hour, the person who has recently started smoking because it is the only way you can get into the pantry every hour â?? no questions questioned. That is right; I am the legendary, ordinary and perfect work-shirker. Life was going on fine until the regular cell phone came into the picture. With the advent of the cell phone, I could no longer tell the wife to take the call from the office and tell them that I was out of the household. All of a sudden, like the Huge Brother’s eye, broadcast who wanted to contact me, and broadcast whom I had no intention or inclination to contact, could contact me simply by critical ten digits on a device that had come honest out of hell â?? if you question the procrastinator at least. But life was still cool enough to live with the cell phone. I could say that my cell phone did not have the network, or that I find it hard to text with the mobile keyboard and of course â?? what email? I am sure; it must be someone like that geeky colleague I had in my first office, who used to spend after work hours playing Counteract Strike on LAN that must be responsible for this simply inane piece of communication â?? the Blackberry. And it must be my wife that gave him company to really buy this dumb piece of luck to rein me in. From a free bird to a shackled beast â?? I had this transformation within minutes of receiving the Blackberry as my office communication device. Okay, at first it was a like affair. Who doesn’t like a gizmo? At times I even thought the wife would be getting envious of my new “girlfriend”, but she kept on her mystic smiles. I should have known then what I was putting myself into. I was putting myself into an unpardonable Blackberry black hole! Imagine my utter frustration when I found that I could really type with as much ease as a keyboard with the QWERTY keyboard on the Blackberry â?? surely the devil had come back to take his due back from the time when I was a project manager. And oh, did I tell you about the suicidal movement when I found out about the one touch email? There went the ‘Oh, my Internet wasn’t working at home and I couldn’t access the email!’ excuse, and of course I forgot to tell you about the one touch attachment opening with the blackberry â?? that moment really made me feel useless and gave me nightmares about having to really work. It is a weird conundrum I am in. I cannot throw away my Blackberry which I feel like doing very often (It has made me a slave! I am a slave of the machine!) but I cannot keep it any. Are all Blackberry owners like that? I would really wish to know.

Sony Ericsson – Music be the Food of Love With Walkman Mobile Phones
There are two things in modern mobile phones that everyone seems to question about and use: cameras and music players. And sitting up there amongst the best music mobile phones in the world are the brilliant Sony Ericsson personal stereo phones.
Rock profiles – the description of Sony Ericsson’s personal stereo mobile phones
Back in the far, far away days of long (about 3 years) ago, you’d be doing well to find any mobile phones that were built to fill your life with music. The music mobile phone, as we know it nowadays, didn’t really exist. Sure, some could use mp3s as ringtones, but a dedicated, simple to use music player. Not on these mobile phones, sir.
But then, Sony Ericsson came along, and changed all that. But to them, just putting music players wasn’t enough. And so, one of Sony’s most well-known brands found its way into the Sony Ericsson pantheon. The personal stereo mobile phone was born, in the shape of the Sony Ericsson W800, and what a groundbreaker it was! You see, it shared a platform with the K750, and away from each other from the paint job, and the fact that the Sony Ericsson W800 had a ‘running away mode’, they were absolutely, utterly, really identical. That was a excellent thing, because it meant that both mobile phones shared a phenomenal base platform.
But the huge difference, and the thing that would shape the world of music mobile phones to this day was the personal stereo music player. It led directly to Sony Ericsson’s entire personal stereo range of mobile phones, handsets that dominate the world of mobile music. In 2008, that range looks set to get even ber…
Sony Ericsson W980 – the flipside of the personal stereo phone
There’ve been some really rather pretty personal stereo mobile phones in the past (the W580i springs immediately to mind), but nothing has come along that’s as pretty as the Sony Ericsson W980i. In fact, it’s simple to predict what the first words will be, for a lot of broadcast, when they clap eyes on the Sony Ericsson W980i. I believe the phrase ‘Ooh shiny’ just about covers it, as this is easily one of the sleekest mobile phones that’s been unveiled in recent memory. That glossy end, the external touchscreen, the slimness… it all makes the Sony Ericsson W980i truly alluring. Veyr few mobile phones can contest these looks, and in terms of power, it leaves a huge number of mobile phones standing in the dust, as well! Mostly that’s down to the incredible personal stereo music player built in, but the Sony Ericsson W980i also has 8Gb of memory, HSDPA, and a 3 megapixel camera. It is, basically, stunning.
But, what if your tastes run to a touch even more special? What if you want a touch that just outshines any other mobile phones it goes up against? And what if you want a Sony Ericsson mobile phone that will actively take on the iPhone, there’s only one choice for you…
The possibility – super-secret Sony Ericsson touchscreen personal stereo phone on its way?
Sony Ericsson are due to be announcing a mobile phone very soon, which will honest away become the flagship of the personal stereo range. There are no official details on it yet, no model number, and not even a development codename, but if rumours are right, it’s easily going to go honest to the top of the mobile phones heap. It’s due to be a full touchscreen phone, and Sony Ericsson are all set to be cramming in 16Gb of memory. So, in essence, they’re making an iPhone-Killer, only Sony Ericsson will give it a better camera, quicker internet, a design sleeker than any other mobile phones, and of course, that personal stereo music player. One effects clear, though, between the Sony Ericsson W980i and this nameless touchscreen personal stereo handset, the world of music mobile phones is going to pretty much belong to Sony Ericsson!

Learn More About the Mobile Phones You Love
The mobile phone or just plain mobile, it can also be referred to as a cellular phone, cellphone, cell, hand phone, handset or wireless. Whatever you choose to call it, it will refer to a long-range portable electronic device that uses a network of specialized base stations known as cell sites. And in the proliferation of mobiles in this age of modern technology, a lot of companies are joining the bandwagon to provide the broadcast with an assortment of choices when it comes to handset models.
Huge players like the Finnish brand Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, LG and Samsung whose phones are not only stylish but functional as well rule the market. They account for over 80% of the mobile handsets sold and produced in most countries. Other phone manufacturers such as Alcatel, Sharp, Apple and a dozen more companies then stay on suit.
Based on investigate, some countries in the European region now have more mobile phones than broadcast. This means a greater number of subscriptions than the real population count. The world’s estimated number of mobile phone users is pegged at 2.14 billion back in 2005, and at the rate things are going, estimates of mobile users are expected to still balloon in the years to come.
In view of the fact that its first introduction to the market in the 1980s, the mobile phones have really evolved in nature. Earlier, it was seen only as pricey business equipment for the rich, but in less than 20 years, it has managed to evolve itself into a touch equivalent to a personal necessity. It has long surpassed the use of landline phones and generated a low-cost mode of communication.
Texting as we call it allows mobile users to send and hear messages from other handset users at a predetermined number of characters their mobile phone supports. Not only that, mobile phones right now are getting sophisticated at the minute with innumerable built-in features that users can really delight in such as an integrated camera, radio, multi-media player and others more. You may even get these features from low-cost mobile phones.
These mobile phones can also serve as a fashion pole which can be custom-decorated by the owner depending on his or her own personality. Cell phone custom decoration such as downloading of themes, wallpapers, ring tones and the likes is in itself a booming business, one which generates the providing network a generous amount of profit notwithstanding the other services they provide the broadcast alongside these from a local phone shop or online store.

The Big Question – Why Do We All Love Mobile Phones so Much?
There’s no doubt that mobile phones are amongst the top gadgets broadcast want. But why do we have this like affair with mobile phones? When you get right down to it, what makes mobile phones so special?
From small acorns, huge trees grow – The description of mobile phones
So, where did it all commence? Where did the rich variety of mobile phones we see in the world today really come from? Well, the thought for a cellular-based system (the keystone of all modern mobile phones) was first projected in December 1947, as a possible way of setting up wireless communications. It would go undeveloped, though, until the 60’s and 70’s. On top of that, the very first mobile phones are very certainly stone age compared to the modern breed. Before it all went digital, analogue phones were the ordinary (ones like the Motorola ‘Del-Boy’ phone), and they were unreliable, power-intensive, and weighed as much as a small town. But still, the the makings was there, and when mobile phones went digital, they crossed the divide from yuppies’ toys into communication devices for everyone. We went from calls, to calls and text messages, to calls, text messages and the internet, to… well, who knows where to a fantastic degree go in possibility!
One word can sum up the state of mobile phones, though, and this is probably why, more than anything else, they’ve taken off so massively in the last few years: convergence. In other words, mobile phones do more than just phoning broadcast, pulling in technology as disparate as music players and cameras. They do more, and therefore, you can do more with them. Let’s take a look a two of the largest extra features that’ve made their way onto mobile phones, features that really have changed the game: music and cameras.
Music on your mobile phone – Into the 25th Century with the Nokia 5800
Without a doubt, music has been a massive success tale in the world of mobile phones. The possibility of taking your music pool round with you, whilst NOT having to carry around a separate mp3 player, has meant that mobile phones have taken a huge foothold in this market. if you want an example of where they’re at now, look no further than the upcoming Nokia 5800, a touchscreen mobile phone that combines the best worlds of music, a clean 3 megapixel camera, built-in GPS and super-quick internet access. Basically, the Nokia 5800 really is a portable multimedia player in your hand, and given the amount of broadcast interested in it, it’s honest to assume it shows that music is a huge thing for mobile phones, especially in view of the fact that the Nokia 5800 is soon due to be available with Nokia’s Comes With Music service, specifically designed to blur the lines between mobile phones and music player further.
Make no mistake, putting music on mobile phones is huge business, as the Nokia 5800 so eminently demonstrates!
Thump, bang, wallop, what a picture – the Sony Ericsson C905 shows the way for camera-equipped mobile phones
If the Nokia 5800 is blazing a trail in the world of music mobile phones, then one phone in particular is setting the camera phone world alight: the Sony Ericsson C905. There’s a very excellent reason why this is so: the Sony Ericsson C905 is one of the first mobile phones in the world to have an 8 megapixel camera, importance that the mobile phone is now becoming a serious possibility for replacing your standalone camera. The simple reason broadcast have taken to camera-equipped mobile phones in a huge way is because they’re so much simpler to carry about and grab snaps on the spur of the moment. The Sony Ericsson C905 takes that to new levels, importance that spur of the moment photos from mobile phones are now rapidly reaching proper digital camera territory. Of course, the Sony Ericsson C905 also features GPS (the next huge thing in mobile phones) and super-quick HSDPA internet (the other next huge thing in mobile phones), but it’s the camera, like in so many mobile phones, that’s made it so ordinary.
