Starting with the form factor, for the first time a Sony Ericsson P-series mobile phone is now a slider. Looking round the back of the phone, one can see that it has a 5 megapixel camera (about time, too, the P-series has everlastingly lagged behind its Cyber-Shot brethren). All in all, then, Sony Ericsson fully deserve to be one of the huge boys, with a huge, cool portfolio of ace mobile phones. Let’s hope they kick Nokia off the number 1 spot within ten years time!

The killer feature of the Sony Ericsson X1, though has to be built in GPS, a incredible addition that means that theoretically, you’ll never get lost again… although, at least a passing knowledge of how mobile phones work would be needed…
